Acceptance of Terms by using Gigboon.com, you agree to these Terms of Service (“ToS”). If you disagree, please do not use our platform.
2. Definitions
“Platform”: Gigboon.com.
“User”: Any individual or entity using the platform, including Buyers and Sellers.
“Buyer”: A user purchasing gig services.
“Seller”: A user offering gig services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements to use Gigboon.com.
4. Account Registration
Account Creation: Provide accurate, up-to-date information during registration.
Security: Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.
5. User Roles & Responsibilities
Sellers: Must deliver services as described in their gig listings.
Buyers: Agree to pay for services received and provide relevant project details.
6. Payments and Fees
Processing: Payments are securely processed through integrated payment gateways and methods.
Platform Fees: Service fees may apply to transactions; details are available in our Payment Policy.
Payment Schedule: Payments to Sellers will be released according to the agreed-upon timelines.
7. Dispute Resolution
Mediation: Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly. Gigboon.com offers optional mediation services.
Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes may be settled by binding arbitration.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
User Content: Users retain ownership of content created and shared. By posting, you grant Gigboon.com a license to use, display, and distribute your content.
Work Ownership: Buyers own the work delivered unless otherwise agreed. Sellers retain rights to their pre-existing IP.
9. Confidentiality
Users agree to protect confidential information shared during engagements and use it only for the intended purposes.
10. Termination and Suspension
Conditions: Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these ToS or other platform policies.
Appeals: Suspended users may appeal for account reinstatement.
11. Limitation of Liability
Gigboon.com is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use. Liability is limited to the amount paid to us in the last six months.
12. Compliance with Laws
Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction, including data protection and consumer rights.
13. Changes to ToS
We will notify users of significant ToS changes in advance. Continued platform use after changes indicates acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These ToS are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka without regard to conflict of law principles. Provisions may vary based on jurisdiction.
