This Payment Policy outlines the processes, fees, and conditions related to transactions on Gigboon.com. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment Methods

Accepted Methods: Gigboon.com accepts payments via credit/debit cards, and other secure integrated payment gateways.

Currency: Transactions are processed in LKR and Currency conversion fees may apply for international transactions.

3. Buyer Payments

Deposit Requirements: Buyers must deposit the full project amount into Gigboon’s escrow system before work begins.

Payment Release: Funds are released to Sellers upon Buyer approval of the delivered work after a 7-day clearance period. If no action is taken by the within 3 days, funds may be released automatically after a 7-day clearance period.

4. Seller Earnings

Service Fees: A service fee of 15% is deducted from the Seller’s earnings per completed transaction.

Withdrawal Process: Sellers can withdraw their earnings after a 7 clearance period. Withdrawal methods include bank transfer, or other available options.

5. Escrow System

Protection: All payments are held in escrow until project completion, providing security for both Buyers and Sellers.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, funds remain in escrow until the issue is resolved per our Dispute Resolution Policy.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Eligibility: Refunds are available under specific conditions, such as non-delivery of services or mutual agreement between Buyer and Seller.

Processing: Refunds are processed back after a 7-day clearance after approval.

7. Late Payments

Penalties: Late payments by Buyers may incur additional fees. Sellers are not obligated to start or continue work until payment is secured.

Account Suspension: Repeated late payments may result in account suspension.

8. Taxes

Responsibility: Users are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes related to their transactions on Gigboon.com.

9. Chargebacks

Disputes: If a Buyer initiates a chargeback, Gigboon.com will investigate. Sellers may be required to provide evidence of service delivery.

Penalties: Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension or legal action.

10. Account Security

Fraud Prevention: Users must ensure the security of their payment information. Gigboon.com employs encryption and other security measures to protect transactions.

Unauthorized Transactions: Report any unauthorized transactions immediately. Gigboon.com is not liable for losses due to compromised accounts.

11. Payment Disputes

Resolution: Payment disputes will be handled in accordance with our Dispute Resolution Policy. Funds in escrow may be withheld until a resolution is reached.

Final Decision: Gigboon.com’s decision in payment disputes is final and binding.
