Gigboon.com is an online freelancing platform that connects freelancers (Sellers) with individuals or businesses (Buyers) seeking their services. Freelancers offer a wide range of services, and Buyers can hire them based on their needs and project requirements.

To get started as a Buyer, simply register for a free account on Gigboon.com, browse the service categories, and select the freelancer or service (gig) that fits your needs. You can then initiate a project by paying the full amount through our secure payment system.

To become a Seller, sign up for a Gigboon account and create your profile. From there, you can list your services (gigs), showcase your skills, and set your rates. Once your profile is live, Buyers can begin to place orders with you.

Gigboon accepts payments via major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other secure payment gateways. All payments are made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). International users may incur currency conversion fees depending on their financial institution.

When a Buyer hires a Seller, the project amount is deposited into Gigboon’s secure escrow system. The funds are held in escrow until the work is completed and approved by the Buyer, offering protection to both parties.

Sellers receive payment after the Buyer approves the work. There is a mandatory 7-day clearance period after approval before the Seller can withdraw the funds. Sellers can withdraw their earnings via bank transfer or other available methods.

Gigboon charges a 15% service fee on the Seller’s earnings for each completed transaction. This fee is deducted automatically before the funds are released to the Seller.

In the event of a dispute, both parties are encouraged to resolve the issue amicably. If the dispute cannot be resolved, Gigboon’s dispute resolution team will step in to mediate, and the funds will remain in escrow until a resolution is reached. Gigboon’s final decision is binding.

Yes, Buyers can request a refund within 3 days after receiving the work if it does not meet the agreed-upon standards. If the work is incomplete or not delivered, the refund will be processed based on the stage of the work completed. Refunds are subject to Gigboon’s cancellation and refund policies.

Buyers can cancel an order before the Seller starts working on it and receive a full refund, minus any processing fees. If the project has already started, the cancellation will depend on how much of the work has been completed. Sellers may also cancel if they cannot complete the project, in which case a full refund will be issued to the Buyer.

Refunds are typically processed after a 7-day clearance period following the approval of the refund request. The exact time may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.

If a Buyer initiates a chargeback, Gigboon will investigate the issue thoroughly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension or legal action, and the Buyer may be liable for fees incurred during the process.

Yes, Buyers who fail to make timely payments may incur additional fees. Repeated late payments may result in account suspension.

If you notice any unauthorized transactions, please contact Gigboon support immediately. We use encryption and advanced security measures to protect your transactions, but it’s important to keep your account secure.

All users are responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes related to their earnings or transactions on Gigboon. We recommend consulting a tax professional for specific tax-related advice.

Yes, you can deactivate your account at any time through the account settings. However, any ongoing projects must be completed or canceled before deactivation.

Suspended accounts may be appealed for reinstatement. You will need to provide details explaining the issue, and our team will review the case.
